Simple keyboard shortcuts make adjustments easy. Press Spacebar to play or pause, use the Up and Down Arrow keys to adjust scrolling speed, or press Escape to exit Camera Mode.

Hover to Pause makes things even easier. Move your pointer over the teleprompter to pause scrolling automatically. Move it away, and scrolling resumes. It even works while another application, such as Zoom, is active.

Adjustable Reading Area

Adjust the text size to suit your viewing distance, and customize the width of Camera Mode to create the reading area that works best for you.

Simply hover near either side of the teleprompter to reveal its resize handles. Drag inward for a narrower reading column or outward for longer lines.

Unspool remains centered beneath your camera, and your text automatically adjusts to the new width.

Background Transparency

Unspool’s adjustable background transparency lets you control how much of your screen remains visible behind the teleprompter.

Choose a solid black background for maximum contrast or gradually reduce the opacity to see the applications and content behind Unspool.
