Unspool respects your privacy. The application was designed to operate locally on your Mac without requiring an account, subscription, or collection of personal information.
Information Collected by Unspool
Unspool does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information.
Unspool does not use advertising, analytics, tracking technologies, or third-party services to monitor how you use the application.
No account is required to use Unspool.
Your Scripts and Files
Scripts you create, edit, open, or save using Unspool remain on your Mac in locations you choose.
Unspool does not upload your scripts or their contents to Black Trident Publishing or to any cloud service operated by Unspool.
Unspool may temporarily store information locally on your Mac as necessary to provide application features such as preferences and recovery of unsaved work. This information remains on your device.
Camera and Microphone
Unspool’s Camera Mode is designed to position the teleprompter window near your Mac’s built-in camera. Camera Mode does not require Unspool to access, activate, record from, or capture information using your camera or microphone.
Website
The Unspool website may be hosted using third-party website infrastructure. Those providers may process limited technical information necessary to deliver the website, such as IP addresses, browser information, or standard server logs, according to their own privacy practices.
Unspool does not use the website to collect the contents of scripts created with the application.
Email Communications
If you contact Unspool by email, the information you voluntarily provide will be used to respond to your question, support request, or feedback.
We do not sell information submitted through support communications.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if Unspool’s features or privacy practices change. Any updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
